Wasn't sure, only based that off of the kid who tweeted has pictures in a Jacksonville jersey, suppose just a coincidence.

Looks like the tweet is from a Jacksonville (Ark.) HS player.
And from the photos I can see, he looks REALLY small. If I were guessing, I'd say he's going to walk on a UCA and plans to transfer to ETSU after a year.

Good news! It would be a very bad deal if it was a kid that we are investing a scholarship in,.. Thanks for the information!

Updating my previous guess, I found a roster online and #3 for Jacksonville appears to be Josh Alcorn.

Here's his hudl which lists him at 5-7/150.

Ran some track/hurdles.
At a minimum got some looks/contact from D2 schools.

Bought Dave Campbell's Texas Football magazine today. Great picture of Dez Lewis in it. Picked Bears to finish 4th in Southland behind SE LA, Sam Houston,and McNeese.

Not sure about Sam Houston this year. They lost a lot and, like us, have a new coach.

I like to be respected in the preseason polls, but I never put much stock in them. Too many unknowns going into a football season!

Neither do I, especially in the Southland. Think the Bears will be tough to beat.

Good news. 9 Bears were named to first/second team preseason SLC teams.
If there's any bad news it'd be that seven of those are seniors that we'll have to replace next season.

Can someone with knowledge of the website and who runs it please get them to update our football roster. We are about the only division 1 team in america without our freshman and updated roster numbers on the athletic dept official site. Embarrassing IMO. Sorry for the vent.

Actually, I'm pretty sure they can't put them on there until they are enrolled in classes. I just checked a few and none of them had Fr on their rosters with the exception of one or two Fr which I assume may have enrolled in summer classes.

I believe all our freshman have been enrolled since June. That probably is true though.

It looks like the Freshmen have been added to the 2014 Football roster. Fall camp starts in 2 days.... #fearthestripes
