Lamar had a couple of d-backs who were speedy and pretty much kept much of anything getting around the edge........plays that normally go for 10 yards were 3-4. On post game radio Coach admitted Lamar was doing something on slants that were confusing blocking and we never really figured it out. Did Ledet run hard or not? We played pretty soft pass coverage in Q1 but got tighter as the game went on...Have not looked at Ponder's punting stats but other than the one that was nearly blocked that he had to hurry, he flipped the field a couple times when we needed it. Good game to have going into Hammond............... reminder we will get team's top efforts.

D-line was pretty awesome again..............LBs were flying around and d-backs after a couple time sin Q1 were pretty solid with the mismatches LU gave them........special teams were very good with punting, punt coverage, Smith's 67 yard return.......even Dauksch's 19 yard return of the short kickoff was impressive.......place kick's were perfect........Desmond Smith was 6/100 and move past Fairooz into 3rd all-time.........Garner's 13 tackles and Chamber's disrupting los of plays..........

Did you notice the BMB's new unis? I thought they looked pretty sharp and their music and enthusiasm was top rate as always.........

A=10,257 and student section were great until mid Q3.....guess the parties started early.........

Yes a pretty good crowd . We have not topped the 12,000 mark in the Campbell era. Sororities usually have seen enough after the homecoming queen voting. We believe that there is nothing that could make everyone stay for an entire game. May not see what we saw back in 2003?, when Tech was undefeated and #2 in the nation and 40 minutes before kickoff the line to get in the east side was backed up to the prince center. Still can hope though
