Very optimistic with this conference and for the outlook of what this will mean for UCA. I felt like we were an anomaly in the Southland in some ways. While I am not sure if it will have the same flair in Football, it seems other sports like baseball, softball, and basketball should be much better. We will just have to wait and see. Really like playing North Alabama, Liberty, Eastern Kentucky in all sports (except Liberty in Football). Hopefully we can continue to play Sam Houston as a permeant non-conference game, as well as McNeese & SFA some years. |
