The lumberjacks have laid awake at night scheming about how to beat the Bears. They will throw everything they got plus the kitchen sink at the Bears. The lumberjacks realize the there is no margin for error. Our Bears will have to play great to pull this one off. Go Bears !

They are stacking the box and we are still running right at them. Just don’t understand it. We should be up 24+. Sadly not much need for fireworks tonight.

SFA has got to be one of the best FCS teams with a losing record (now 3-4)....huge lines on both sides....looked like they had 50 pounds on our guys.....Harris is the real deals....RB Wimbley was a big load to get down....I did not get to the stadium until early H2 but listened on the way....did not get to see Mauer before he left the game but the backup is no slouch....he took about two series to get into rhythm ....fortunately Bears defense put it on them that last series and caused a couple bad throws...

Thought we looked sluggish on offense most of what I saw....SFA put some good pressure on Will and we only ran a very few deep routes...pretty sure we had a couple guys their DBs could not run with.....

As sluggish as we looked, hats off to Will McElvain for making plays when the game was on the line, to Hale, Powell and James for very hard running and to Butler for the winning TD and a couple big catches and to Richmond for the TD recept........and to the defense for the extreme pressure at the end...

As to SFA not being a UAC game....Acri said on the broadcast that because this game had been scheduled before SFA and UCA joined into the UAC, UAC declared it to be a non-conference game.....sounds like bureaucracy alive and well....

Glad to get D1 win #4......need the week off to get healthy.....Tarleton State in two weeks promises to be a tough game...Go Bears!!

Very true on the size. Number 73 was one of the biggest offensive lineman we have faced all year. He was Massive! On a side note I’m watching Montana and McDowell is doing very well. Glad to see him find success at a place that could use him.
