Good game by the Bears. Just made one too many mistakes and the refs didn't help a couple of times either! Go Bears!

Great effort......ran out of gas a bit but never quit and nearly gave themselves a final chance on that last drive.....

Nothing for this team to hang their head's about. They played a great game against a quality team. The Southland better get ready....

Good game, fellas. I wasn't expecting quite the choppy turnover fest the game devolved into, but I knew the initial 14-0 lead was too good to be true and that you'd fight back. You're a tough team with FBS talent. I wish you the best of luck this season, I'll be following the Bears throughout. Crossing my fingers that injury wasn't as serious as it looked, hated to see that.

Best of luck and thanks for tolerating me on your board,

-CVilleBuff

Monte said on the radio that they got Wallace's ankle popped back into place and was getting him ready for the flight home.

Same old story. Can't put together a full 60 minutes of football

No matter what the sport and no matter what level of play, turnovers are the kiss of death in athletic competition.

Some observations ...

Bear defensive line played very well...vs. the run and got pretty consistent
Pressure all night.

Kickoff coverage was much improved. Plus another long return from the Bears.

Justin Heard is a player...entire defense played pretty solid. ( except for a couple
Pass coverage mistakes )

It was a coming out party for Chase Dixon.

Wynrick was just a little off. Even though he completed over 30.

PAC - 12 network did a good job with the broadcast. Except for those analyst at the half.

Colorado was better than advertised. ( but I knew that coming in )

UCA ability to run the ball is a concern for me.

It was a game the Bears had in their grasp...didn't execute the tunnel screen
And paid the ultimate price.

This bunch is fun to watch...and I'm a BEAR FOR LIFE...........

In all fairness I was told the INT pick 6 by smothers in the fourth was actually off the hands of the receiver....which I know doesn't matter too much, but make that catch or if it hits the ground and we're most likely celebrating a win or losing it close. Smothers has never had a game like that. I'm just nervous about the amount of injuries.

I thought the "fumble" near the sideline was questionable...forward progress should have been stopped. That was a big play. But who knows if it would have mattered in the outcome of the game

I completely agree and think that it was a huge turning point in the game.
