UCA is a 16 point underdog according to the betting sites. Feel sorry for anyone who falls for that! |

Elevation comparisons: Conway: 315 feet Boulder: 5430 feet Will that play a factor Buffs fans? |

Those who visit Boulder from sea level and take a jog or hike within a couple days of arrival will be huffing and puffing. With this looking like a fast-paced game it may very well play a role late. |

We are playing a PAC 12 program. It isn't going to be an easy one that's for sure! |

Random question, but I'm always intrigued with this when facing top notch FCS competition: Where do you guys see your program being in 10-15 years? Basically, what I'm getting at is you've moved from DII and established yourselves as a top notch FCS program quite quickly if I'm not mistaken. Do you see UCA staying in FCS for the long haul and becoming a "blue blood" of FCS like James Madison, Richmond, Montana, North Dakota State -- or do you think the ambition is there for a future move to FBS like Western Kentucky, South Alabama, Old Dominion and others have done in recent years? |

Until an actual playoff is going in the FBS I have no interest and no I don't consider 4 teams out of 120 or so a playoff. But in 15 years I bet we move to FBS if the school continues to grow like it has. |

Being FCS blue bloods would be fine.....Montana (and some others ) put out a consistently good football product and fill stadiums..... UCA's geography have does a modest TV market benefit to a FBS conference with the Little Rock MSA being 600,000+ in population.....TV stations in LR are pretty friendly to UCA....practically we need to do more in FCS (get to Final 4 some), build game attendance and solidify finances more.....school needs to grow more to 14,000+...personally I like FCS becasue of the real playoffs.....bowl games in FBS are boring but FCS payoffs are exciting....lots can happen in 10-15 years but I would guess UCA will be part of FBS someday..... |

UCA will need to establish a running game early on against the Buffs. I thought it could have been a little more productive last week against UIW. Bears need to break a long one this week. 160 yards on the ground Would be nice. I think they are very capable of this. __________________________________ GO BEARS! |

This is a pretty solid preview article Quote: A year ago, Colorado State upset Colorado with a first-year coach and then North Dakota State, an FCS school, came in and poleaxed the Rams off their cloud, 22-7. The Bison went on to win the FCS national title. On Sunday, Colorado upset CSU with a first-year coach, and at 6 p.m. Saturday at Folsom Field comes Central Arkansas, ranked fifth in the FCS. Last weekend eight FCS schools beat FBS teams. Only two are ranked higher than Central Arkansas.
