I see 5 (1-2) teams in the Top 25, and a 3-1 UCA with a win over a FBS opponent can't crack the Top 25 :shock:

Agree with 75, just take care of business. Before the season I think most would have been happy with a 3-1 start. Is the the second FBS victory? They seem to have momentum, confidence, talent & good health. Take care of ACU & get ready for a nice home stand. Win and they will come, Go Bears!

Let them leave us unloved and unranked. It gives the Bears more to prove and less motivation for our opponents.

Keep winning "the next game" and everything will work out!

The national pundints don't care about UCA...neither does the statewide media.
They consider the Bears to be a bunch of scrubs who happen to play football.

Listening to Drive Time Sports this afternoon...some guy ask what in the hell was
wrong with A-State losing to UCA. The response was they had plenty of talent but
they were struggling to find a running game and they were also struggling to stop
their opponents on defense. Not once did the host of the program mention UCA
in any shape form or fashion...that maybe, heaven forbid, they might know a little
bit about the game of football and not that anyone would admit it, have a few
decent athletes. It was nothing that the Bears did...it was what A-state didn't
do that was the difference in the game. It's a shame that so many people are
so damn stupid and get paid to do it.....

Foot.......as you know well there is a LOT of stupidity about football in some corners..........I rarely listen to that show but when I do I marvel at the questions they get .....not sure we have any actual sports media in this state..........not fair to the few who try to be sports writers but they are clearly outnumbered.......... I don't have that many years left to worry about it changing.......maybe we start our own "media".....

I totally agree...they call it a caller driven show, but everything they do is designed
to promote one school and one school only.

Thank goodness for Justin Acri...at least he does talk about the Bears to some
degree on his show.

Thanks to A-State...the Bears got more publicity this past week than normal both
from the university coverage and the local tv station in Jonesboro.

Goes back to the same thing said earlier: Keep winning.

Honestly, it sucks that we get so little coverage. What will change that is winning: Winning the conference, going deep in the playoffs, etc. We've been competitive, now it is time to turn it up to being a champion. That will garner the attention we deserve.
