It's their homecoming.

UCA 7-1, 6-0 vs. SFA 4-4, 3-3

SFA lost to SLU 58-34.
UCA beat SLU 45-10.

SFA beat McNeese 31-28
UCA beat McNeese 35-0

SFA beat ACU 41-30
UCA beat ACU 58-27

STATS COMPARISON: conference only

Points per game: UCA 40 SFA 34. ADVANTAGE UCA
Scoring Defense: UCA 12 SFA 39 ADVANTAGE UCA
Defense Yardage allowed per game: UCA 248 SFA 452 ADVANTAGE UCA
Rushing per game: UCA 247 SFA 157 ADVANTAGE UCA
Rushing defense: UCA 78 SFA 132 ADVANTAGE UCA.
Pass offense: SFA 301 UCA 207 ADVANTAGE SFA
Pass defense: UCA 170 SFA 320 ADVANTAGE UCA
passes thrown: UCA 139 SFA 288
Rush attempts: UCA 320 SFA 233
TDs: UCA 32 SFA 27
Sacks: SFA has 18 but has allowed 13
Sacks: UCA has 13 but has allowed only 1

Looking at those stats SFA relies heavily on the pass. Their defense gives up waaaay too much.

Prediction: UCAs defense is too much for SFA and SFAs defense just cant stop anybody.
UCA 49
SFA 14

Gives you a good feeling when a SFA fan picks UCA to win by nearly 3 scores.

I have a feeling that the Bears will be ready for their former Coach on Saturday.
A little extra motivation comes at a good time. Plus UCA is on the road...and for
whatever reason they play really well away from Conway.

Conque and co. have got to be so thirsty for a win against UCA. The bears have tormented SFA since he left, and this will be Zach's last shot at getting revenge against UCA.

Offense may start slow again, but it won't matter. This defense is too deep, too strong and too fast to give up much to SFA. Bears will coast 41-13.

Who cares about Crank Clamp's feelings.. He is in one of the most fertile recruiting grounds, has an awesome budget, stole some of our staff, and left his players high and dry. With all the advantages he has he still finds a way to get the crap beat out of him. Heck even their fans want him fired. I don't hold anything against any of his players. They are getting lied to when they sign up with SFA for a coach that may not even be there two years from now. He caused trouble at UCA and who knows what he's doing to SFA besides losing. #-o

Bears roll. Defense feasts. 8)

What is it with our teams playing at 2:30 this year?! :wtf:

Yeah, so the games can be on the interwebs...so what?!

I LOVE night games! Gives you time to tailgate!

Our next two games are 2:30 or 3:00 games...and I bet that SHSU game if we go undefeated will be moved to 2:30 also. [-X

SFA and Nichols, now both at 2:30.
Sam is scheduled for 6 p.m., but your right, it, most likely will be moved to 2:30 or 3 p.m. . TV rules all of that stuff.

Some of us live out of State (Oregon) and can only watch online/TV.

I agree about being on TV...but the ESPN3 broadcast are iffy at best. I have a lot
of trouble watching the games and admit that most of it is my internet service.
(stay away from windstream at all cost)...but I have heard numerous people complain about the ESPN3 broadcast.

There are a couple of ways to look at television.

First of all, ESPN really does call the shots on this stuff. I am not sure I would call it great exposure. I have asked folks in our athletic department a couple of times what the viewership is like on our games and the response has been....it doesn't matter, the games are on television.

Everyone I talk to that tries to watch the games via the internet has had issues. I get the impression that it is the nature of the beast.

And then, there is this outfit called the American Sports Network.....talk about bush league, there it is. It is nothing more than an operation to provide some content and maybe make a dollar or two, but it just does not have a whole lot of substance.

I said all of that to say this....yes, it is good to get coverage on television. The professionalism of the product, however, leaves alot to be desired.

Watching live UCA games on television or the internet is something that was out of this world impossible not that long ago. I think every game this year has been on some form of broadcast or stream which is just crazy if you think back to say...5 years ago.

ESPN3 sucks, but it's better than listening to it on the radio. No offense to Acri and Kane, but they tend to struggle to illustrate whats going on. I love that they do it though. It gives the program some added publicity given they're local/state personas.

ASN isn't the greatest broadcast, no, but they are leaps and bounds better than the booth announcers ESPN3 carries. They are at least on site and do a little bit of research beyond the programs that are handed out outside the stadium.

Just my two cents...
