No local or statewide advertising for this game. Shame on UCA.

I'll support these kids by going to games but no more the athletic department.

Why is this even a question... [-X

Doesn't the NCAA have some financial responsibility for promoting the game?
After all, they sure make the schools bid for the opportunity to host the games.
Just wondering?

Probably not.

But when has the NCAA given a rats @ss about the FCS?!

UCA Athletics hired those promotional or development people/person and there isn't jack about the game on TV commercials or radio ads.

The kids deserve better.....much better.

What exactly is our athletic department doing for these outlets for this big game?

Nothing.

Too bad.
Even with no advertising and Thanksgiving, the Bears should have a passionate state fan base that would provide a respectable crowd. Unfortunately, they probably don't. Think we've discussed this many times, but we need to keep pushing for improvement from the administration, the media and especially our alumni. Like you said Bear Country, these kids, and the ones to come after them, deserve better.

Bear ISU!

I think we had some of our biggest crowds in 2008 when we were in transition. We had a coaches show on the Buzz, had some landslide tv coverage that even bugged the pig fans, and we even got paper rep.

We'll be there Saturday.
