Looks good from where I sit............I like where they come from...........in-state quality programs as well as football states......5 from Florida!! All these guys look great in the UCA jersey............. two QBs that look to have the background to step it up.............d-line, o-line, DBs, LBs, RBs, WRs...........even another kicker......also, we are getting players offered by other top FCS programs......North Dakota State, Montana State, Illinois State, Samford, The Citadel, Chattanooga, Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois, New Hampshire, Charleston Southern....even Army, Yale, Texas State and Hawaii........and , of course, other SLC programs.......seeing us get quality in-state players from places like Bentonville, Greenwood and Bryant is really important.......

Welcome to all our new brother Bears!!!

Here's the article on our new kicker, Hayden Ray:

Quote:
Before his sophomore year in high school, Hayden Ray had never seriously kicked any ball that wasn’t round.

He’d been a soccer player since he was 4 years old but didn’t really have the size nor the inclination to play a game with an oblong ball.

Now it just so happened that the Bryant Hornets football team was staring at an approaching gap in their long tradition of excellent kickers that included three brothers named Denker. The last of that trio, Alex, was entering his senior campaign that fall.Ray, the son of Scott and Stacy Ray, was named all-State, all-conference and, on Monday, it was announced he’d been named First Team all-American by Kohl’s Kicking Camps.

Anyone catch the DENKER name in that article?

44 Jace Denker PK 6-1 188 Sr. Bryant, Ark. / Bryant HS

Also this:

http://www.bryantdaily.com/bryants-ray-among-three-finalists-for-national-kicking-award/

Quote:
LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Bryant’s record-setting kicker Hayden Ray has been chosen as one of the three finalists for the 2016 Chris Sailer Award.

I think we got a good one fellas! =D>

Did I hear CC say that the receiver UCA signed from Miss. Gulf Coast CC was the leading receiver this past season and that 2 more from MGCCC also signed with
