Seal simply was outmatched and outmanned. I hope they get Nunez back for some games later I'm the year. Good win, as expected. The fight for the title starts tomorrow with SHSU prep |

Bears looked good tonight! I went back to look at the rushing stats. SELA got a lot more than what it felt like they did. Our defense was all over them the second half. Loved seeing the aggression to get to the ball. Hildebrand was deadly accurate tonight. 9/30 is an important one. Crowd was pretty good tonight, but we need to fill Estes up and be LOUD! |

Great game last night! Can't wait for Sammy! Eleven Sports Broadcast was better than any ESPN 3 broadcast I've seen! |

Even better when I turned the sound down and listened to Justin's radio call. Anxious to hear the status of Carlos injury. Turf toe can be serious. |

Have to give the Bears credit in all phases............that opening drive was extremely good o-line play and hard running.......pretty much set the tone......then the defense comes in to shut down the short field SLU drive after the long kick return....other than the kick return and a couple dumb penalties, the Bears should grade very high......credit the freshman place kicker for a perfect night on PATs and the nice FG.....strong run game, strong pass game, solid defense, strong kick game (Ponder was really on last night) .........usually win those games....... SLU has some really good players......the two RBs were very hard to bring down Nunez was not at this best but our DL and LBs had him on the run constantly..........their punter was really good......I was surprised they ran so much as we seemed to have 7-8 in the box most plays.....I was also surprised that we never did put the QB #7 on the ground on all those fake naked bootlegs.....figured someone would pop him good at least once just to let him know he was not alone One of the best games ever I have seen as far as execution by the Bears...... glad to get the Lions behind us and have a big win............ |
