I was speaking to some high school coaches earlier today about how well received Steve Campbell and his staff are, and how it is helping them in recruiting. They have made a great impression on some of the best coaches in Arkansas. One coach told me "He is just a down to earth guy who keeps his nose to the grindstone, and knows how to get it done. He has watched film with us, and spent time with our staff learning more about us and our players. That goes a long way in the recruiting game." |

Coach Campbell has got it figured out. High School coaches think a lot of their players and rightfully so. They won't steer them to a place is not a good environment for them. Plus...he is winning and that never hurts. Thanks to Dr. Teague for hiring this guy. He is a gem. BPSG _________________ GO BEARS |

I was talking to one of our assistant coaches the other day and he was telling me that, as a staff, they love working for Coach Campbell. He says EVERYONE is on the same page. The one thing that this young coach says he has learned from Coach Campbell is about evaluating talent. He says Steve is so much further ahead of other coaches in our league when it comes to evaluating personnel. |
