All good observations. Our coach Mac said in an interview yesterday that
we know nothing about these guys, don't even recruit the same kids. We've
got our own issues that we are practicing on this week. Being home, having
a successful formula that produced a successful season, I expect you Bears
to show up and "play your game". I think UNH is the wildcard - how do we
practice this week (weather here is excellent and was under the lights last evening).
How do we fix the offense, special teams, travel, frame of mind. I'm hopeful we
play to the best of our ability and give you a competitive game. I have a few
ideas on what I would try to create offensively, defensively we need to stop your
great run attack first. We MUST win the turnover battle.

I have no doubt that UNH will bring their A game to Conway...wouldn't expect
anything less. Looking forward to the game and a unfamiliar opponent.
Don't get no better than playoff football in December...

SkyCop.........thanks much for the intel..........playing unfamiliar opponents is always exciting.......everyone trying to get the feel and speed of the other first........we say we want to control LOS and run the ball chewing up clock......we have 4-5 legit RBs with differently styles........we have 5-6 legit WRs and TE types who can catch and run........ never know which RB or WR will be featured or get hot........hard to tell sometimes whether we run to open up the pass or vice versa.........I have seen each.........fortunately we have had very good punters and place kickers for a long time........this year pretty solid..............punter could kick for anyone in P-5 ...........we have long tradition of defensive end play with a number of NFL drafted players......DEs solid but interior linemen this year seem to shine the most as do LBs.........a couple of solid DBs who have made great progress in their careers.......QB is first class and may still rank just behind Oklahoma's Mayfield and Ok State's Rudolf among D1 passing efficiency.....not flashy but effective..........pics of your stadium look impressive..........well beyond what Villanova plays in ........we have much better high school stadiums than theirs...........at least the statue of famed track coach Jumbo Elliot was worth seeing..........weather should be great for a ball game Sat...........

Anyone know how many tickets have been sold so far? Have talked to a few people and it sounds like they’re expecting to have a pretty good crowd from what I’ve heard.

Looking at the ticket site:

About 900 lower level home side sold
Upper level middle home side none available.
Upper level GA high available.
Away side GA high available.

I'd guess 4k sold. With another 2k walkup on gameday you'd see 6k at the game or more.

I'd love to have Estes packed but no matter how many people are there we need to make noise! We need to be cheering anytime there are bear players on the field and never stop.

Welcome to all the UNH fans on the fansite! We hope there are a lot of you at the game tomorrow and that you feel welcome! Safe travels for the team and fans.

Defense looked good first series but let them nickel and dime us that last. Couple of generous spots did not help.

I agree but why should they. They can stay in their tent or their lawn chair outside the fence?!? They are following the current alumni examples and furthering a trend.

I think some purple and gray graphic wind screens would do wonders for our attendance.
