Though it's unclear where they rank on South Alabama's wish list if at all, AL.com has been able to confirm through sources that Auburn offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey, Central Arkansas head coach Steve Campbell and Missouri offensive coordinator Josh Heupel have all expressed interest in the Jaguars. Lindsey will coach with the Tigers in this weekend's SEC championship game, while Campbell's Bears are the No. 4 national seed in the FCS playoffs.

His interest may have been limited to at least having the conversation. He owes it to his family to at least do that. Does not mean he wants the job, but I've learned you almost always take the interview and make the decision if presented.

Honestly, there is a big list of candidates. He's one of many. Does not mean they'll select him....or if he'd go if offered.
