Sculptor to bring "bear" art to UCA A dead tree that was originally planted in the memory of University of Central Arkansas alumni who served in World War II will get new life as a sculpture at the University of Central Arkansas, according to a university news release Tuesday. Beginning Monday, Gary Keenan, a sculptor from Iowa, will use a chainsaw to carve the tree on the in front of Wingo Hall into a life-sized bear. President Tom Courtway has been working to get the project underway since last year. |

The bear on the tree stump is awesome..having run into more than one bear in the backcountry, that looks really good.....hope we don't end up with a green and yellow Bear.... |
