"Swine won't play anyone in the state because they want to allow everyone to root for the swine with no conflict of interest?" Nonsense! They don't want to take the chance of a loss and possibly lose their grip on the state's Walmart fans. Tell me, what other school in the US won't play in state teams. I don't know one. This guy believes their propaganda?

The only thing I give him credit for is supporting his alma mater, or at least what he thinks is his alma mater...... because he spent two years there.

For me, my colors are purple and gray and the only team I cheer for is UCA!

"There has not been a sporting event involving both UCA and Arkansas since 1948"

To the contrary, there have been numerous occasions over the years where track and cross teams have been in same meets. I give uaf coaches credit in track and XC that they take on anyone..probably one reason they are so good...not afraid to compete....

If this young man thinks people in Jonesboro pine for the hogs then go see RWs as a second choice he is on something....

And for a hog loss ruining his day...grow up...it's a game....

The policy started when the state had 1.5 milion people..we have 3 million today and have plenty of people to support more than one team.....good gosh, Mississippi has 2 SEC schools, one CUSA and SWAC team...I can assure him they do not root for each other...except when playing Bama....

One more thing, I may go to a uaf event on rare occasion as a sports fan but I do not wear my UCA, Ok State or Mizzou gear....(now I would if that is who was playing!!!).... just seems tacky otherwise...I have plenty of neutral shrits....

Purple and Gray forever....

http://ucaecho.net/print/sports/marketing-problem-for-athletic-events-students-unaware-of-game-times-dates/

Really...students do not know about games times? There are 11,000 i-phones on campus checking the web every 10 seconds and our students cannot find ucasports.com?

He forgot to mention that the Hogs do not play anybody that considers them a rival. UCA's average baseball team finished ahead of the Razorback's last year.

Instead of playing everyone in our conferences try playing one the in-state teams.

Apart was also used in the wrong context.

He didn't even mention baseball.... I do believe they were in the same tournament at the end of the season and I do believe they compete for players. This guy is a moron.

This guy is a typical Hog fan...he takes it for granted that everyone in the
State is one also. He is incapable of thinking for himself. He does what
Mommy and Daddy tell him to do. The Quote from Kevin Trainor that he
He loves so much is the U of A at its best. ( By not playing any other school
in the state it leaves people free to support all schools). That's a dog that
won't hunt anymore. You support one program and anyone with any sense
Knows that. The U of A can't afford to take the chance of getting beat
By some lesser school. It would tarnish their image. I would think they
Would want to schedule a team more on their level...they obviously can't
Win one in the SEC.

I personally don't care if UCA ever plays them, but that's not my call.
My Loyalty lies with the BEARS only.
