Dear UCA Alumni and Friends: On behalf of Division of Advancement, the Alumni Associations and the UCA Foundation, I wanted to email everyone to provide an update regarding our Presidential search. After receiving 40 applications, the university interviewed 8 potential candidates this week in Dallas, Texas. These 8 candidates were then narrowed down to 4 finalists that will be visiting campus next week for interviews, tours, and community and campus receptions. I want to extend the invitation to all of our alumni and friends to attend the community reception portion of each candidate's visit. The four finalists and their respective community reception times are as follows: •Len Frey, Ph. D., Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration at Arkansas State University, Tuesday October 25 at 7:45 a.m. •Houston Davis, Ph.D., Interim President at Kennesaw State University, Wednesday October 26 at 7:45 a.m. •Darrell F. Parker, Ph. D. - Dean and professor of the College of Business at Western Carolina University, Thursday October 27 at 7:45 a.m. •Nagi Naganathan, Ph. D. - Dean and professor of the College of Engineering at University of Toledo, Friday October 28 at 7:45 a.m. The decision of who will lead UCA into the future will be announced in the coming weeks!
