http://www.arkansasbusiness.com/article/118149/uca-exceeds-2016-17-goal-by-raising-over-6m It was not all that long ago the entire Foundation had less than $3 million in total assets.......now over $43M with a $25M endowment fund.......and raising >$6M per year.......much improved with much hard work............. by Arkansas Business Staff on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017 The University of Central Arkansas' Division of Advancement in Conway raised nearly $6.12 million for the 2016-17 fiscal year, exceeding its goal of $6 million and making this the third-best fundraising year to date. More than 10,600 donations from more than 4,200 donors were recorded, including payroll deductions, in-house credit card payments, pledge payments and direct mail responses. Of those, 3,637 were online transactions totaling $363,867, according to the university. The UCA Alumni Association, an interdependent unit that operates under the division, also surpassed its revenue goal of $110,000 by 22 percent. It saw 9 percent growth in membership and a "highly successful" Homecoming Week, the university said. The UCA Foundation's net assets and endowment now exceed $43.6 million and $25.2 million, respectively. The fundraising goal for the 2017-18 fiscal year is $6.5 million. |
