Things are starting to rattle and roll again up here around Quake City. A 4.2 about 30 minutes ago, http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/dyfi/. Ten shakes in the last 24 hours.

I was thinking about field turfing my yard to save on water, fertilizer, maintenance , etc. over the next ten years but I'm rather cautious about what the price would be to fill in a big crack in the ground. Any experts out there with a ballpark figure with experience in crack filling and turf repair?

Can't say for sure HB,but according to Henderson States web site you can do the whole thing for $600,000. Fix a crack, new cover.....prolly a couple hundred thou... Hope this helps answer your question!

I priced turf for my yard at $39000 (seriously) but I think concrete's cheaper.

If you can hold out for about 10 years PB I know where you can probably get a good deal on a purple/gray striped turf yard :!:

 Is there a "gray market" on used turf?

Sorry, I had to.
