I have been a Washington Redskin fan since the day they drafted Monte Coleman
I have remained a fan since that time and more times than not I must wonder why.
Watching the game last night vs. the Pittsburg Steelers was what I have grown accustom to over the past 20 years or so. The Skins just don't seem to get it as
a franchise.

But after one of the Steelers many touchdowns of the game and I believe one by
an Arkansan by the name of Deangelo Williams who I consider the best back ever
to come out of Arkansas...John Gruden made a statement that caught my attention.

He was referring to one of the Steelers offensive lineman. His name is
Alejandro Villanueva and he played his college ball at ARMY. After graduation he
fulfilled his commitment to the ARMY by serving 3 tours of duty in Iraq an then and
only then did he make himself available to the NFL. The point of all of this is to
say that the announcers made it a point to say that not only did he stand for the
NATIONAL ANTHEM, BUT HE SANG EVERY WORD!!!!!!

GOD BLESS THE USA AND THOSE WHO DEFEND HER.

Thank you Alejandro for your service to our country.

Love cheering for DeAngelo, but he's #4 in D1 career rushing.

1 Ron Dayne Wisconsin (1996–1999) 6,397
2 Ricky Williams Texas (1995–1998) 6,279
3 Tony Dorsett Pittsburgh (1973–1976) 6,082
4 DeAngelo Williams Memphis (2002–2005) 6,026
