Tip time is 2 pm at the Farris Center. To say this is an important game is being a bit understated. I hope the crowd comes out in full force and noise to support the girls tomorrow.

We are 3-1 in SLC play, Lamar is 2-1 after having their bye Wednesday the other night. Our lone loss was to Lamar, and Lamar's lone loss was to 4-0 McNeese State. We beat the Lady Cards here in the FC last year, but lost by 10 two weeks ago. This one is important! Hope to see you at the FC tomorrow afternoon!

Go Sugarbears! I think I read that this is Lamar's first conference road game of the season. It's going to be a great game!

Sugar Bears ahead at the half, 30 to 22.

What's with the time-outs to fix the shot clock during the last couple of games?

Too many turnovers, unforced ones at that.

Very winnable game. Our guards need to realize that they can't drive the lane when they are double teamed. Turned the ball over way too many times when they tried that move. Also, Taylor was very cold from 3 point range but kept throwing them up there anyway.

Most impressive player to me today was the frosh, Courtney Duever. Very good all-around ballplayer.

Heartbreak...great first half...second half we sped up the game...and the Lamar press didn't help either.

One team appeared to have stamina, drive and discipline down the stretch.

21 turnovers yesterday. That will beat you every time against a good team. That being said, the girls played a good game overall but some poor individual decisions were costly.

it is unfair to fault taylor for her shots. shooters shoot. when they miss... the only way to make the next one is to take the next one. that is why coach left her in the game. also unwise to point a finger at a player who is already at #3 alltime in 3s midway through her soph year... and has the ncaa alltime record for 3s in a half.

the guards were double teamed on penetration because the 3s weren't falling. so they had to attack the zone. basketball 101.

no individual lost this game.

#3 All-time in what??

She made 74 last season. 30 this year so far. By my math, that's 104.

According to ucasports.com record book that's tied for eighth... http://ucasports.com/custompages/WBReco ... ield_goals

Still need 53 to get 3rd.
