Tip at 2pm Lamar (12-5/5-2) UCA (12-6/5-2) Last games... Lamar falls to ORU by 77-48 on road while SBs lose at home to MSU by 77-61...both teams will have to play much better...big game for each...Sam leads at 6-1 and ORU also at 5-2..... SLC only stats UCA scores 61 while LU only 57....both give up 56...... UCA leads in FG% at 42% to 37&....Cards lead in FG defense by 38% v41% SB shoot 33% 3s vs to 25% for LU....both about 33% 3s defense which is bottom of SLC UCA has slight advantage in FTs by 68% to 65% SBs have +43 reb margin while LU has <4>...opportunity for UCA SBs lead in assists by 16 to 10..... LU has +5 TO margin while UCA is +1...need to get better here...we were <7> to MSU and that hurt... Have to stop Kalis Loyd who is #2 SLC scorer at 21 (74% FTs)....MH at 20 (47% FGs, 72% FTs) and CD at 14 (53% FGs, 76% FTs)....combined 20 rebs per game....Dominique Edwards is LU 2nd scorer at 8 plus 7 rebs)...Alice Robinson leads in FG% at 47%.... Both teams will be hungry for a win...SBs must defend home court....they have slight advantage in key areas but have to execute.... |

Exciting game taken into overtime by a last second shot by UCA. Sugar Bears win 67-62 Since I'm being lazy I will let someone else do the stats. |

LU 36-21=57+5=62 (12-6/5-3) UCA 28-29=57+10=67 (13-6/6-2) Was away and missed the games today...looks like great comeback by SBs....these are games you have to find a way to win..and they did...congrats to the ladies.... Awesome performances by Megan (18/16) and Courtney (18/15).....Gowans added 10 and Rogers added 8....Kalis still got 25 for LU Lost TOs 19-14 but won rebs by 49-32 including 21 v 9 for o-rebs...wow.... Literally FTs were the scoreboard difference each team had 22 FGs and 4 3s...SBs hit 19/25 Fts while LU only 14/120.....Herbert and Duever wre a combined 14/14...superb... Savor this one for a few hours... SELA up next at FC on 1/31 with tip at 5:30.. |
