UCA takes a 22-21 lead into the locker room! Uca has never won at sfa. Looks as though the lineup change may be working!

From the game recap:
Quote:
"It's disappointing," Rushing said. "I felt like we went in with a great game plan, but some of our shots and decision-making shouldn't be happening in February. We say one thing in the huddle, then when we step out on the floor there's another huddle. I sure would like to be involved in that huddle, I can promise you that. We leave the huddle out of the timeout, step back out on the floor, and there's something different going on."

Sounds like that could be a huge problem!

It's the typical "losing your mind" that haunts track coaches...often distance runners know exactly how to run a race and practice that very hard....then they step on the track and chase some stupid jackrabbit from the start and you are done by the 600m mark of a mile race.....then you kick yourself for "losing your mind"....

Coach has to figure this out and get this team focused....they have too much experience to play this way...
