I went to the game. Maggie looked under the weather imo. There is a bug going around campus. But no idea.

McNeese's game plan was to get it to #25 and let her get fouled. No idea if she shoots better than that but at one point her poor free throws cost them 6 wasted possessions. Thats a huge point swing.

I gotta say though the refs kept air moving through the whistles waaaaay too much today. Ticky tack fouls almost like if they breathed on the ball dribbler it blew. It took 20 minutes to play a 10 minute period. #-o

Nice end to the regular season....congrats to all the SBs and coaches on the season..........have to admit I had my doubts early..........figured they woud be prerty good but not 26-3...........

Now off to Katy and play with intensity............still lots of b-ball to be played........Go SBs!!

Nice things said by their coach. I wonder if ALL coaches have a clipboard in front of them that has a list of things to say when talking to the opponents media.

Things to say:

1. compliment them on their play
2. tell about what a great year they had
3. compliment their play and point out a specific game moment
4. compliment their coaches
5. compliment their season again
6. point out your team's weakness and how they took advantage of it
7. compliment how hard they played
8. tell them you were impressed
9. throw in a "reminds me of" moment if you have time
10 throw in a "i'm sure we'll see them in the tourney next year" if you have time.

Most know how to talk to media.............nothing really to gain by trash talking your opponent after a game.............still, he could have said "played hard and now on to the next game".
