Great job the SugarBears this season........a bit shaky at the start but they got better and better as the season proceeded.....just awesome defense...........Texas has a 13 RPI.......Texas A&M is RPI 22 and is the best team we played this season........they beat us pretty good at College Station but Gary Blair's A&M teams have been rock solid at home over the years..........we also lost pretty good in Lubbock to Texas Tech RPI 104......I would like to play that game over now..........SFA at RPI 89 was our highest rated win.......

No one expects us to beat UT .....except our SugarBears....there have certainly been 14 seeds win games.....just go play your game........never give up .......and believe in your team..........I would not be surprised to see them grab a win........

Go SugarBears!!!

From NCAA pregame interviews:

Q. Maggie was saying nobody knew who the Sugar Bears were last year. Maybe they still don't. You said it's a great opportunity for your program. For the folks in Austin, who are the Sugar Bears? What are the Sugar Bears all about?

SANDRA RUSHING: Well, I think we've got the best mascot in the country, all right, and I get asked that all the time, the Sugar Bears. Somebody asked me where did it come from, and I said, it's just because we're sweet, Sugar Bears.

Well, be ware of the sweet.........it can be disarming........Go SugarBears!!!

Sugar Bears down 28-4 early 2nd quarter. This is ugly. More turnovers than points. They seem to be really freaked out about playing Texas.

Sugar Bears getting killed on the boards 8-27. Have fewer turnovers than UT, but A/TO of 1/7 compared to 10/10 for UT.

60-41 UT with just under 1:30 left in Q3. Sugar Bears seemed to have settled down, but digging out of the early hole will be tough.

62-43 end of Q3. Sugar Bears did much better after the break, outscoring UT 23-14 in Q3.

Sugar Bears go down 78-50. Played pretty well last 3 quarters, but first quarter was just too much to overcome.

Well done, ladies! =D>

Don't think "a" tall girl would've helped much. Texas must have had 10 of them taller than Sugar Bears tallest. Slow start, but they fought all the way. Great year and proud of them! Lots of teams didn't get to"dance", this group did......twice!

Yeah, that was my point.
