ACU@UCA ACU 14-20-19-14=67 (12-4) UCA 13-23-15-15=60 (6-10) ACU/UCA FGs: 46% v 35% 3s: 25% v 29% FTs: 70% v 82% Rebs: 40 v 28 TOs: 22 v 14 Not good enough from field...14 more shots but only 35%......usually getting +21 POTO is a win but not today........Orr led with a fine 25/7/5A/3S/1B ...Bozic had 13 and isher and Canady each had 10.... |

Coaches Show tonight SR Antonija Bozic was the guest player….. from Croatia...….sister passed up a chance to come to US and play at Florida State......AB came to play at a Texas JC and got recruited by UCA......18+ minutes avg per game ...….35% 3s........37% FTs.....2+ assist/TO %.....6+ppg avg....50 games....psych major.....impressive sounding young lady...… Coach Long sitting in tonight...always enjoy his comments.... |

@NWS UCA 21-14-19-20=74 (6-12) NWS 14-14-29-21 =78 (6-12) How did we give up 50 in the 2nd half? Let by 14 early then trailed by 12 and had to rally to try a cmeback .....Langhi had a geat game with 19/2/1S and zero TOs..... Orr tallied 16/5/7A/3S...Canady added 14 and Goodner 10.... All that really matters at this point is SBs limped into the 8th seed and plays #5 SHS in first round next Thursday…..I think our wi 62-60 over UNO a few games back broke the tie with NWS... |

SLC Tourney Katy, Texas Game 4: #3 Nicholls v #6 TAMCC, 56-69 Game 3: #8 UCA v #4 ACU, 54-82 Game 2: #6 TAMCC v #7 UNO, 69-47 Game 1: #8 UCA 20-18-15-23=76 #5 SHS 20-18- 17-16=71 UCA/SHS FGs: 45% v 46% 3s: 60% v 29% FTs: 63% v 53%.....+12 made but also missed 12 Rebs: 34 v 40 TOs: 12 v 18....+16 POTO Huge win....wish I could have seen it or followed on radio...looks like a terrific game...Orr led with an exceptional 29/13/5A/7S......wow.....Langhi a very solid 12/5/2/1/1.....Canady added 10.....each team had a 7 point lead at one time...…...SHS mid Q1 and SBs late Q4....when it most counted...…..Orr opened Q4 with a 3 23 seconds in for a one point lead and SBs never again trailed...…. |

Wasn't expecting the game to be this one sided....oh well, another year has come and gone. Lots to look forward too next year. Like I mentioned on the other board....time to move on to spring football..... |
