Tip at 3pm on Monday afternoon Bears need to take care of business and get back in the playing groove to get ready for an important road trip to Nicholls on 1/3/13 and SELA on 1/5/13. First things first and get to 5-5. Mustangs are 4-7 with wins over Crowley's Ridge (2), Rhema and Ecclesia. They are 0-3 vs "AIC" (Harding, Henderson and SAU), none close. "Best loss" looks to be at home by 97-94 v John Brown. These games typically look like practices on paper but Bears need to play sharp the first half, put it out of reach and let bench get minutes. |

CBC v UCA FGs: 42% v 54% 3s: 48% v 42% FTs: 57% v 68% Rebs: 39 v4 9 TOs: 20 v11 Garner 38/11...great DD in only 30 minutes....13/17 FGs and 4/7 3s and 8/8 FTs Borden 14/7...very solid for only 21 minutes off the bench... McClure 11/4....ditto for only 19 minutes Crawford 10/1 with 5 As Harks 10/5...terririfc for 14 minutes Both team hit 10 3s......at first does not look like much defense but lots of rebs for Bears, 20 forced TOs on CBC, 5 blocks and 14 steals......somebody playing D...good to see a lot of guys get notable playing time.... Time to start focusing on Nicholls on 1/3/13 and SELAA on 1/5/13 |
