It's a proven fact that you don't know you have bats until you see them...
I'm sure the necessary steps have been taken to eradicate the varmits. [-o<

Seriously...I had a bat get into my gameroom at my house one time and
it was an exhausting ordeal to catch that dude in a 16 x 36 area. I can
only imagine how hard it is in the Farris Center...

This should give UCA plenty of time to get a prove assistant coach, or maybe an up and coming D2 coach.

Sad to see Coach end his tenure this way...………...wish him the very best...……...we complain now about not advancing in the SLC tourney and not being tough enough on defense...…..before Russ we complained about not being able to win a game and not getting close to the tourney.....even with a 4-11 record this season, this season has to have the highest SOS we have ever had.....the talent is in place to be very competitive this season...Go Bears!!

"Coach Pennell positively changed the culture of our men's basketball program,' said Teague, who hired Pennell in March 2014. "He was able to recruit outstanding young men to our campus who made an immediate impact. This program and our student-athletes are known for their perfect APR (academic progress rate) scores, high grade-point averages, community service and entertaining basketball."

1 -12 with the non-conference schedule. Why play Duke,Utah,Baylor,Georgetown,Marquette and others that we got pounded by? We played the toughest schedule by far of any other Southland team . Razorbacks had a much more sensible non-conference schedule.

I think mainly for money. I think the program is working with less funds overall than the top half. I don't see any other reason besides telling recruits that you are going to play against teams like that.

Not a lot of headlines generated from pennells departure, but, in typical UCA fashion, the ath department has offered little to no explanation as to what happened or what is the plan moving forward. Before anyone tells me that it’s none of my business, this position is still funded with taxpayer dollars, so it kinda is a little bit
