Since our move to division I UCA has made SLOW but steady improvements in overall record:
2010-2011: 5-24
2011-2012: 8-21
2012-2013: 13-17
2013-2014: 8-21
2014-2015: 2-27 (oops)
2015-2016: 7-21
2016-2017: 8-24
2017-2018: 18-17 (nice)
2018-2019: 14-19
2019-2020: 10-21
2020-2021: 5-19 (covid)
2021-2022: 10-19 (may get to 11 wins with game vs. Stetson in conf. tourney)
We've gone from single digit wins to double digit wins.
Now we need to find a way to get to that 20 win average yearly.
Games against Baylor, Arkansas, Texas A&M are usually losses.
Games against Missouri State, AState, Presby and VMI should at least by tossups in the future. If we add half of those and half more conference wins you get about 7 more wins a year. If we average 12 then those 7 more wins puts us about 19!
It can be done!
We have the freshman of the ASUN year on the team. We have talent and we need to learn to play defense....and quit turning it over!
