We are looking forward to UCA being D-1 in basketball. Let's get the board going.

And now we have our first UALR fan as a member!

I was reading where you and your fans seem to think this could become quite the basketball rivalry. I hope you're right. It's a natural fit with the locations. It'd be great to have a non-conference rival and hopefully create a conference rival as well.
We'll probably be seeing a lot of each other.

Absolutely. I can get really fired up about a situation where two D-1 teams in central Arkansas get a really strong rivalry and genuinely compete for the attention of fans and media away from Fayetteville.

I am certain that UCA and UALRs women play each other in a preseason game this year, I believe I heard that for sure. We might even be playing ASUs women in preseason as well. But I haven't gotten confirmation on that yet.

Granted it isn't men, but it's a start. I also remember UCA men getting the arses handedto them back in 2000 or 01 in Alltel, but man did we suck back then!

I got a peak at the schedule recently.

The Sugarbears do have exhibition games scheduled next year with UALR and Arkansas State.

Should be fun.

Yes, UCA Sugarbears did play UALR last season in an preseason game, and UCA wiped the floor with them! I don't remember the exact score, but I do remember that it was pretty bad. They also played UAPB last season and killed them as well!
