I think Teague is down to two or three. All three bring different things to the table. I have a lot of confidence in Brad. I think he names a coach Monday afternoon.+

Corliss Williamson

From the ADG this morning:

Central Arkansas Athletic Director Brad Teague is expected to announce a new coach for the Bears basketball team today at 2 p.m in the board of trustees room in Wingo Hall on the Conway university’s campus.
The hiring comes just one week after Teague dismissed Rand Chappell after seven years as men’s basketball coach. Teague said throughout the week that he had five candidates in mind for the position. Teague also said that all five were coaching in either conference or national tournaments as of Thursday, leading to speculation that the hiring might come as late as Monday.

I couldn't find anything about ABC being in any tournament but I'm not real Google savvy either.

ABC was in their tournament: NJCAA

Scroll down to DI Region 2 Men's Basketball Championship
March 5
Northern Oklahoma/Enid (22-8) def. Arkansas Baptist College (12-15), 79-57

IF Corliss is the new coach for the Bears...I will not be very pleased. It would be a clear sign that the person with the money made the call on this one. Why would you pick someone without any DI coaching experience, when there were HIGHLY qualified DI assistants who showed a lot of interest? I guess we will have to wait and see...
