Besides the videoboard, I also am noticing that the darker floor stain is starting to come off (I noticed this during the exhibition game too). I sure hope they have some kind of warranty.

Tip-off is tonight at 7 in the Farris Center. UMKC enters the game 1-0 after beating Truman State 71-59 to start the season. Senior Jay Couisnard finished with a team-high 18 points along with three rebounds for the Blue and Gold, while freshman Trinity Hall was the only other ‘Roo in double figures, notching 10 points and six rebounds in his UMKC debut. In the contest, UMKC out-shot Truman State from the line 66.7%-46.2%, making 22 of their 33 attempts, while the Bulldogs knocked down only six of their 13 attempts. UMKC also won the battle on the boards, out-rebounding TSU, 38-34. GO BEARS! |

Beat a stronger UMKC team by ten at home two years ago. The Rush publicity stunt will certainly be a lot of fun this year! |

Being competitive, with a lot of hustle, at this point is my main concern about the program. If those two things are evident in our play then some Ws will surely follow somewhere before too long. |

Agree with Sully, that ref made the game about him at that point. Regardless of whether or not he made the right call, he didn't do it the right way. |

He didn't do much of anything right in the final minute, and neither did the two other stooges. Those guys were just absolutely awful. And he definitely seemed way too excited to be making that call – he probably hadn't been that happy since the day his massive Rectum Ripper 3000XL with New Hyperkinetic Swedish Vibrating Technology arrived in the mail. Looking at the box score on UCAsports.com and then using some fancy Google tricks, I found this site where you can go and give him a poor rating. Probably doesn't amount to jack squat, but it at least feels like some form of payback. And you can find his friends here and here. The last guy already has some negative comments in his discussion area. And the other one just has a bad 'stache.
