With 11:26 to go, UCA has battled back to trail 44-48 (were down by 13) ...

Ryan Williams (Pine Bluff) had 6 at half but 10 more in 2nd half to lead Bears with 16....Rutledge has 8....

Bears fall 70-58 after closing to 4 and keeping it at 5-8 for most of the 2nd half...

Ryan Williams led Bears with 19/4.....Mark Rutledge was 15/6...Tadre Sheppard was 6/13....Imad Qahwash added 8...

Sounded like they never gave up and kept clawing back...could not get 3s to drop plus FTs...Tidwell scored first Bears' FG with 13 to go in first half...ouch....

Clayborn ejected early for flagrant foul....only three subs on bench....

As bad as FTs and 3s were, the game was there to take but we only made 19 of 35 FTs..... make 75% (7-8 more ) and this goes down to the wire.....

UTSA goes to 15-13 and 8-7 while Bears drop to 5-23 and 1-13...I think Monty said first season since 1999 no road win....

Coach pleased with level of effort ....opportunity to win.... nice to see Ryan have a big game.... we do not neeed to shoot so many 3s....needed more 2s....took care of ball better....counting on seniors Sat in their last game...hope fans come see them off...

Next is TAMCC at FC (4pm) who beat UTA easily tonight...
