#19 UNLV 63-61= 124 UCA 39-36=75 FGs: 43% 3s: 35% FTs: 63% TOs: 25 (only 8 in 2nd half) Rebs: 15/13=28 Shooting tailed of badly as they shot lots of 3s (3/14). Miles ended up with 21 pts in 26 minutes....Rutledge added 13 and Garner and had 11.. Rebels had 7 in double figures led by Chace Stanback with 29 going 9 for 11 from 3s in only 23 minutes. UNLV had 36 off TOs to UCAs 17. Coach: Hard to believe they hit 3s so well until you see them play....when they turned up the pressure it made it difficult to get into our sets....they pick the play up when they go to the bench.....if we lose let's go down fighting...the guys played hard all night....if we play this way every night we will win our share of games in conference....Lamar has a ton of talent and really took it to us last year....lot of things to work on ...some improvement tonight..... Next up is 1/7/12 at Lamar...Bears now 5-7 |
