Forfeit the rest of the games. Fire the coaches. Jerk the scholarships from these losers, and completely rebuild from the ground up.

Recap thru pre-SLC:

3-8, only 1-8 excluding wins over Hendrix and Ecclesia.

Who thought we would beat La Tech, K-State and Texas Tech?

So, of the other 6 games we could well have gone 3-3 had Q been playing.

We are very dependent on one player right now (back two games and have scored 28 twice) and is an on court leader..... no doubt we have many problems.....not everyone in SLC is playing lights out either...... let's se how they play with LaQuentin back and getting into SLC play.....

Win over Troy by 60-53

Troy is 5-7 with most notable win over Nicholls and losses to Ole Miss, UAB, K-State and Utah State

Loss to SIU-Edwardsviile by 100-93

SIUE is 3-10 with notable losses to UAF, St Louis U, Oregon State, Central Michigan and SIU

With Q this likely a win....2-7

Loss to La Tech by 94-57

Bulldogs are 11-3 with notable wins over OU, Northwestern State, McNeese and ULM and losses to St Mary's (anyone up to playing these guys?), ULL and Ok State

Have to think this would have been much more competitive with Q...

Loss to A-State by 99-56

RWs are 7-4 wit notable wins over UT-Martin, Lamar and Marschall and losses to Colorado, Nebraska and Toledo.

Like, La Tech this could have been more competitve....

Loss to K-State by 87-54

KSU is 9-3.....this would have been more competitive

Loss to Texas Tech by 79-57

Tech is 8-5 with most notable wins over Northern AZ and Houston and losses to Bama, Pitt, LSU, AZ and AZ State

Would have been more competitive....

Loss to North Texas by 64-55
UNT is 7-5 with most notable wins over Nicholls and SELA and losses to OU, BYU and SFA....

This may well have been a win......3-6

Loss to Charleston Southern by 97-90

CS is 5-7 with most notable win over Delaware and losses to New Mexico, Baylor, Bama and FL State....

This was winnable....even Q's 28 was not enough but this was his first game back.....was he rusty and could have scored 40?

Loss to Omaha by 104-88

UNO is 10-4 with most notable wins over Northern IL, UMKC and SC State with close losses to Iowa, UNLV, Drake and Minnesota

Got beat by a pretty good team....

ORU had a tough non-conference schedule.

Saw this on Twitter.

Quote:
NCAA teams average FT% is 69.3%
Highest is Incarnate Word at 84.2%
Lowest is Central Arkansas at 57.5%

Thought surely that must be a mistake.
It's (almost) not.

Out of 345 teams, the Bears are 344th with 58.4%.

How embarrassing.

Free throws are the same shot you shoot since you were big enough to throw the ball from that distance. No defense on you. Plenty of time to shoot it. Clock stopped. Free points.

So not only do we NOT know how to win, but even when the clock is stopped and nobody is in our face, we fail to even earn points on the easiest of shots.

Pistol Pete explains how to shoot a free throw... step by step...

Our free throw shooting has been pathetic the last few years and has cost us many games. I just don't get how a team can be that bad for that long at free throws. What have we been going to the Shaq free throw shooting camp during the summer or something.

UCA 32-48=80 (1-2/4-10)
ORU 53-40=90 (2-1/8-8)

Miles has a 29/9 day and McClure adds 25 on 6/7 3s. Other than McClure no one shot well...Miles was 11/28......however, Bears 22/28 for FTs and only 7 TOs...ORU was 29/59 from field and 30/39 FTs.....
