If any student-athlete decides to skip class more than about once per semester I have no problem with immediate suspension/dismissal....a BCS football team I am aware of dismissed an All-American DT in middle of season that cost team two games....why...for missing classes.....team has a Top 10-15 football APR score and does not tolerate not taking care of business ......it is very easy to monitor class attendance...... I know coaches who do this all the time....

I would hope for those who do take care of business they get a legit shot at showing the new coach they can play....
