I had several friends at the football game tell me they had been to the Bear's basketball practice that afternoon. They said the session was organized and the player's seemed focused and attentive. James Dickey watched the practice and he told me that he thought we would be much improved. I am excited about the upcoming season. I hope all of you meet my friend, Sammy Munsey, who is on the staff. He played with my sons at Pulaski Academy. He was an invited walk on at Arkansas. He can still dunk, his high school team won 2 consecutive state championships and won 58 in a row. He is loving UCA and he will help our young men in lots of ways, on and off the court. Let's support the new regime!! |

Looking forward to basketball, new coach and improvement...big shoes to fill with Q finished .... there is no good reason we cannot compete well in SLC......time to get back to the UCA basketball tradition of 20+ win seasons.....OldBear has a soft spot for basketball as we know.... |
