Post subject:  The Schedule
Folks, I am still relatively new to this forum. Trying to learn and listen more than anything, but I have a question. Why is the schedule such a mess ? There is basically a one week break here in the middle of the conference schedule. I don't understand. Someone please explain.

I will pose the same question on the womens board.

From what I have heard it is a problem handed down from the SLC. Since the conference lost ORU, they had to completely mess up the schedule to accommodate everyone. Also, the SLC has a history of recently changing the schedule up...the past couple of years it was double headers, but before that it was men and women playing at the opposite location (i.e. men vs nicholls/women at nicholls).

Hopefully they stopped the school fluctuation so they can find something that works!

Thanks for the explanation.....

I looked at the mens and womens schedules and my first thought is what a screwed up mess.

When UCA first came into the league, it was the mirrow schedule....then they went to double headers and now this years mess.

I am being kind when I call it a mess. It is more like a cluster..... :roll: . I looked at some of the schedules around the SLC and some are worse than ours.....go figure.
