Nice win by the Bears.

I really like the improved video this year, but need to come up with some better Farris Center lighting.

First of all, congratulations to the Bears...just a GREAT win tonight over SELA.

I saw something tonight that I have not seen in a LONG time. I saw a UCA Bears basketball team having fun playing the game. The last 10 years since coming into D-I have been a disaster and I'm being kind when I say this, but Russ is slowly, but surely turning it around and building a program that we are all going to be proud of. I'm just really proud of this bunch right now.....and things are going to get even better. :D

Feels really good. By the way, in the last two wins, the Bears have scored a total of 200 points. An average of 100 points. Great stuff. The last eight games are winnable and I think we are definitely rising. We have to remind ourselves that most times, it takes a couple of years. What I am proud of is the fact they have done it the right way. UCA is on the rise in men's basketball.

UCA 31-38=69 (5-16/4-7)
UIW 28-43=71 (13-9/8-3)

Bears shot Ok from feild (43%) but UIW were +7 in 3s (that is 21 more points from 3) and Bears were only 12/20 FTs........

Kamba was exceptional at 15/15 night..........Brooks also solid at 12/10...........Howard had 16 and Lowery with 10........Zuilhof was 6/6.......so close for a road win at a pretty good team.............

Come on home for NWS on Monday night................travel safe....

Coach: Told the guys just now..........the missed FTs and 3 did not lose the game but a lost reb late........ very proud we came back from 7 late to tie near end..........fought hard........Kamba had a great night .......he kept us in the game........got to get past this tomorrow and take care of home court..........

Friday night was a tough one to swallow, but it hurts because we now can tell how much better they have become. But tonight's game vs. Northwestern State will be a huge win if they can pull it off. I almost expect it to be a game like last year at Farris or close to it, but I believe we will pull this one out.
