Two big home games left this home stand…….SLU on Sat and HBU week for Wed...….really need to get both...………..irrespective of records Bears can win out but no more spotting the other guys 24...…..will not be easy with 4 of last 6 on road...…….. Coach......"...in sports you better have amnesia and get ready for the next game..." What Bear's player has a grandfather who was NBA COY in the 80s? Go Bears!! |

SLU@UCA SLU 38-37=75 (5-6) UCA 30-37=67 (5-6) SLU/UCA FGs: 44% vs 34% 3s: 36% v 25% FTs: 81% v 81% .....SLU made 26 and Bears 25 Rebs: 41 v 24 TOs: 20 v 11 SLU made 23/28 of FTs in H2......UCA rebounding weak...…….Bears score 23 off 20 SLU TOs........sort of the bright spot plus 25/31 FTs...….....…..difference was really SLU +3 3s...…...four in double figures …..Koval 14, Jones 12, Unuh 11 and Kayouloud 10..... Homestand ends Wed vs HBU then two onroad next week at McNeese and Nicholls.........got to get some wins.........Go Bears!! |

H2-10: HBU up 63-49...……..Bears had closed to 5 then continued their rest period...…... H1: UCA took a rest period in 2nd 10 minutes then scrambled to close the gap some late after getting down by 15......HBU is +4 on made 3s....Bears shooting only 36% and pretty dismal in last 10 minutes...…...10 TOs not good......Unruh leads with 6 but Koval a nice 5/5/3Bs...…. H1: Led from start but Boys tied at 33-33 then Bears defense smothered them and with a couple Koval blocks ended half with a 12-3 finish.
