Purdue has lots of tourney experience and a recent regular season win over #19. Pretty good hieght with four between 6'2 and 6'4. They are accomplished playing in Big 10 and should be a big test for SBs. Boilermarkers are 4-4 in 5 match sets and 5-3 in four match sets. Only common opponents with UCA is Penn State who UCA lost 3-0 and Purdue lost 2x by 3-0. . Of their 11 losses, 8 were to Top 25 teams ; also had 6 wins over Top 25. Attack % of .240.

IUPUI and UCA have Florida Gulf Coast as a common opponent of which SB beat 3-1 at FGC Invite on their home court and IUPUI beat 3-0 at Indy.

#12 Kansas was 14th seed and host as #1 in their sub-regional vs #46 Wichita State. #16 Creighton is the #2 seed and #37 Arkansas is #3.

#2 Penn State is #4 seed overall and hosts vs #87 LIU-Brooklyn and #26 Utah vs #43 Yale.

I like the idea of having the school name/logo on paneled curtains. Maybe UCA should look at doing that with the basketball arena instead of the dreaded black curtain... (black curtain... like the one hanging over the basketball program. )

Mizzou does it right...they just don't brag about it......getting past Purdue will be a big hurdle but UCA v MU would be a barn burner with our ladies tenacity.....

The MU hangings do look great and a great idea for the Farris Center curtains..... and even better idea is 4500 per game but that is in the future.....

If you have not seen the video at link below you need to do so...tell me the SBs are not ready and that we do not have a great coach....

http://www.ucasports.com/news/2013/12/1/VB_1201135746.aspx

In event you do not know route to COMO......from Conway take 65 to I44 at Springfield...take I44 north (toward St Louis) to Lebanon (about an hour)...take Highway 5 thru Lebanon where it turns 4-lanes a little north of town...exit onto Highway 54 at Camdenton and go north to Osage Beach, across the bridge and to Jeff City,,,,follow 54 thru JC across bridge then take Highway 63 to COMO.....exit off 63 at Stadium Drive (about 30 miles from JC) and it will take you directly into MU campus.....all four lane from Harrison to Lebanon then 4-lane from 20 miles north of Lebanon to COMO.....

You cannot miss sports complex area on left (Hearnes Center is the very large building across from Faurot Field...older building but they maake great use it) with med school and campus on right.....downtown is adjacent to campus on north side...take Stadium past MU and find hotels and restaurants near i70 a few miles along Stadium (more hotels and places to eat near 63/I70 interchange area) ...turn right onto Providence at Faurot Field and that will take you to downtown area.... should be ample parking at Hearnes Center.....

Nice to see some respect from the host team

"I followed kU volleyball quite a bit because for a while I thought there was a shot they would end up here in our regional, and the Central Arkansas team in our subregional beat KU in a tournament to start the year. UCA won't be a pushover."
