10/16/14 - SBs home vs Lamar http://www.ucasports.com/news/2014/10/16/VB_1016142805.aspx UCA wins 3-0..now 8-0/13-7....Lamar is now 3-4/3-16..... Schnars has 13 kills but shoots only .267 while Singleton and Petties add 10 kills each and Petties shooting lights out .667....Schnars also adds 13 digs as did Berringer.... Taking care of business on home court...good job again.... big match vs Sam Houston State on Saturday at The Prince.... |

Observation from my one and only trip to the Prince to watch the SUGARBEARS . Heather Schnars is a BEAST on the court. She attacks with a killer instinct. |

Sugarbears drop a close set one to Shsu 23-25. We were down big, but went on a 7-0 run to get close! |

Quality win by SBs...Kats were 5-1 in SLC coming into game.....UCA now on top 9-0 with SFA and 14-7 overall..... Today.....23-25; 26-24; 21-25; 25-18; 51-11...... SBs outshot Kats .225 to .155.....both teams had lots of service errors....Megan Nash stepped up UCA today hitting .444 while Schnars was solid at .300....Hunt, Berringer and Schnars as all had 10+ digs....,Singleton had a nice game hitting .280 with 7 digs.... |

Sugarbears are down in Corpus Christi tonight. We dropped the first set 18-25, but took the 2nd 25-20 to tie it up at 1-1. They have a great crowd down there tonight to welcome the Sugarbears! |
