Just got beat by a better team today...they blanked us twice this season.....that is no small feat...wish them well in NCAAs....Schnars stats looked like a solid game hitting .300....SBs still had a wonderful season and always represent UCA very well....thanks to all our seniors for their commitment and best wishes as they go out into the world.... http://www.ucasports.com/news/2014/11/23/VB_1123141911.aspx Congrats to Heather and Shelbee for all-tourney selection... |

Our Sugar Bears represented UCA well, as always. Four conference tournament finals and two trips to the big dance in five years - UCA's first five years of tournament eligibility, at that - is quite an impressive feat. Certainly not the outcome UCA wanted, but NWLA is a very good team that was underrated this year. Unfortunately for us, many of the issues that plagued them throughout the season resolved near the end and it all came together for them come tournament time. So goes D1 athletics. They'll do the conference proud in the tournament. Well done and good luck, Demons! |
