I know the season is not off to the start all of us have been used to in previous years. However, I am in the mindset that everything will get better. This team will be better. They are going to turn things around. For a team that record wise is not good, they have played a lot of volleyball and the competition has been really tough this year.

Everything will be fine. They will be fine. I saw them play for the first time tonight, and they had great runs and great serving. I saw glimpses. All they have to do is just put it together and the wins will come.

I just wanted to post this because people get discouraged sometimes. Not all of us. Especially me. WE WILL BOUNCE BACK!!!

Thx to E-Rod who is probably the #1 SB volleyball fan. He is right on that they played a tough schedule and played close in almost every game. They have not had consistent hitting % where it has to be which tells me they scramble to stay in the game to have a chance. Maybe it is a team chemistry issue with a new head coach and the normal new players. Keep working and get into the SLC schedule..I'll take a nice SLC run over a win over OU anyday. Go VolleyBears!!

Here's the obvious problem. Fatch left the program and damaged its future. Taking 2 or 3 very important players with him was very damaging and I'm very surprised he was allowed to do this. It will effect the program for a couple of years at least.

While this is true, I'm pretty sure the rules allow players to transfer if they choose. Yes, there is no doubt he took some key pieces of the puzzle, and while I often get frustrated at losing I do understand the nature of the beast. I realize the Coach Jones was thrown into a very difficult situation that I am very confident she can handle, she is just going to need time to get all of HER pieces in place so that she can play her style of volleyball. Seeing these ladies struggle is not something we are accustom to as of late, but I am confident we will get back there!

I am not a volleyball fan, just a UCA fan. I agree with most everything that has been posted about Fatchmo. From what I have been told by those that follow the program closely, he did damage the program. His ego was just more than alot of people could take. I will confess that on days I knew he was speaking a Bearbackers, I would either not attend or wait until later to go to the program.

Moving on, I don't know Coach Jones...don't know anything about her. Met her a couple of times. The lady seems to know her stuff. Wish her nothing but the best. I believe, however, based on some previous posts, that it is going to take some time for her to get her players in here. Good luck coach.

Sugarbears struggled out of the gate, getting down 11-4, but have battled back and now only trail 14-12! GO SUGARBEARS!

I wish the live stream had sound!
