VB starts in just a few weeks.................OOC schedule below........should be good work to get ready for tough SLC play........ Central Arkansas fans will have their first opportunity to see the 2018 Sugar Bears on the weekend of August 17th and 18th, as UCA takes to the floor at the Prince Center for its annual Purple and Gray Scrimmage (Friday, August 17th) and Alumni Match (Saturday, August 18th). The Sugar Bears will officially open the 2018 season on the road, heading to Davidson, North Carolina for the weekend of August 24th and 25th to take part in the Wildcat Classic, hosted by Davidson. Central Arkansas will take on the host Wildcats on the 24th at 6:00 PM CT, before facing off with Williams and Mary (9:00 AM CT) and Marist (3:00 PM CT) on the 25th. Chatman and her squad will then head to Martin, Tennessee for UT Martin's Skyhawk Invitational on August 30th through September 1st, taking on UT Martin (Aug. 30th), Alabama-Birmingham (Aug. 31st), Memphis (Sept. 1st), and Florida A&M (Sept. 1st). Central Arkansas will then return to Conway to open the home portion of its schedule with the Central Arkansas Invitational, which will take place in the Farris Center on September 6th, 7th, and 8th. The Sugar Bears will open the weekend's action against in-state rival Little Rock at 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 6th, before battling South Dakota (7:00 PM, Sept. 7th), and Arkansas-Pine Bluff (1:00 PM, Sept. 8th). |

Good to see the ladies bounce back with a couple wins............now 5-2....back home at The Prince Center this week for home tourney vs UALR, South Dakota and UAPB at 1pm before football....let's fill it up for them. |

Nice 3-2 win last night in the opening round of the Central Arkansas Invitational against UALR! Things didn't look so good when UALR came out and killed us in set 1 with a final score of 25-13, but these ladies found a way to fight back and win it in 5! We also get 3 points in the 1-40 Showdown to take a 4.5-1.5 lead over UALR. The Sugarbears will take on South Dakota tonight at 7 in the Farris Center. |
