This is going to be a CRAZY road swing. I'm not sure I've ever seen such a long road swing like this in baseball. This team will definitely be road tested come conference play. GO BEARS!

Hopefully all this winter weather will hold off. My wife and I got a hotel for the Missouri State series in Springfield and I would hate for it to get cancelled. I know UCA always plays pretty well against Mizzou, so that could be a chance for us to sneak 2 games on the road against an average SEC school. I think we have split with them in both 2-game midweek series. Long stretch for the Bears, but a great chance to push through some adversity on the road and find out what we are made of.

Bears at Ole Miss postponned due to weather and to be rescheduled.

Mo State is 4-1 with wins over UALR (17-4), UT-Arlington (7-2), SFA (5-4), Wasington State (12-0) and a loss to Iowa (5-6). They play Ok State tomorrow state in Stillwater then their schedule shows playing UCA three games in Natchitoches..what?????

•MSU leads the Valley in team ERA (2.03), strikeouts per game (9.2), on-base percentage (.445), walks (42) and runs scored per game (9.2); the Bears rank ninth in all of Division I baseball in OBP, while both their scoring average and total walks rank 12th nationally
•The Bears have outscored the opposition by a combined 46-16 margin in their first five games of the season, marking their largest run differential through five games since 1999, when they outscored their first five opponents by a combined 58-16 margin

Mizzou is 7-1 wiih 4 wins over Iona to start the season, then wins over TAMCC, San Housotn State and a Purdue (with a triple play to boot) wiht the sole loss to TAMCC. SEC Pitcher of the Week last week.

@SFA for SLC opening series, 3/6-3/7/15

Game 3:

Bears romp 11-1......guess Jacks ran out of pitching....

Sweep opening SLC series and move to 3-0/7-3.....

Next at Wichita State on Tuesday then home weekend series vs Lamar..

Game 2:

Bears win 9-8 in 10.

Game 1:

Bears win 5-4 in 12.

UCA 5-8-1
SFA 4-9-1

Beier (2.2 innings and 1 run on 3 hits) gets the win and Stitch should get a save....Phillips get GWRBI on sac fly to score Langley who had tripled....

Bears led 5-4 in top of 12th.....

Still 3-3 in top of 11th.....Gilmore good outing over 6.2 inning....bullpen has been solid....

Tied at 3 in top of 9th....

Shockers are struggling this season getting Ws.....1-2 at Sam Houston State, 2-3 vs Texas State, 0-3 at Long Beach State, 1-2 vs Central Michigan and home loass to UCA...only 4-10 overall but SHS, TSU and LBS are usually pretty soild baseball....

Still did not see a win coming by 12-1 score at Wichita.....Echols goes 7.1 with 1 run and 3 hits......2600+ in attendance.....
