Keep this in mind... FRIDAY NIGHT, MAY 8 will be 'Pack the House' Night at the ball park when we take on Sam Houston St. Game time is set for 7 pm. I'm not sure what all is involved in 'Pack the House' night, but thought I'd pass this along already so you can plan on being there now!

Bear Fans, We wanted to let everyone know in advance of some game time changes for our series against Sam Houston State May 8th-10th. On Friday night May the 8th we are having pack the park night. Everyone is invited and admission will only cost a nonperishable food item. The game has been moved to 7pm to allow more time for tailgating which will start at 5pm. Saturday's game has also been moved to a 1pm start time to accommodate graduating Seniors. We hope to see everyone out at the ball park. Thank you and Go Bears!

From GoBearkats.com...did BF101 pull these nuggets out during his broadcast?

Quote:
The 22 strike outs is the most in one game by Sam Houston, breaking a 35-year old record was set in 1974 when Ron Kainer fanned 20 batters vs. Adams State.

Weatherford’s 12 strike outs ties as the third highest individual single game figure in Sam Houston history. Also striking out 12 batters in one game were Greg Kubes and Daniel Boedeker in 1997 and Ryan Baily in 1998. Jesse Marshall stuck out 13 vs. Lamar in 2005.
