Another important week for Bears being on the bubble...... Bears now 9-12/19-21 No mid week games (although SLC schedule show at home vs MS Valley). TAMCC is 8-13/23-21 and lost series 1-2 to SELA with a 7-1 win on Saturday to avoid the sweep. Bears remaining opponents in bold..cumulative SLC record of 36-48. SLC standings below: SFA 15-6.....vs UTA TSU 15-6.....vs MSU...Bobcats coud do Bears a favor with a sweep.... SHS 12-9....vs SELA SELA 12-9....at SHS UTA 12-9....at SFA UTSA 11-10...at NSU LU 9-12...vs NWS...go Demons.... NSU 9-12...vs UTSA MSU 9-12.... at TSU UCA 9-12.......at TAMCC TAMCC 8-13......vs UCA NWS 5-16..... at LU |

Game 1 Bears drop a close one 4-3. I mean we've been in division I for a whole...what...less than 5 years?...That should be enough time to establish a division I powerhouse..

Bears split on road with Mizzou (Big 12...not SEC but still known as a pretty decent baseball conference...Texas, Ok State, OU, A&M, etc....)...then Mizzou takes 2 of 3 from #6 Texas A&M this weekend.... Tough time to be swept and by a team you need to stay in front of....still time to make move but now is the time... |
