Midweek games this early in the season are hard to judge. But, it's always nice to be able to match up against the big boys. Vandy is ranked #2 by Baseball America. I know we have beaten won against the SEC before, but beating the #2 would be a very nice way to move to 4-0. |

Vandy usually has good baseball and this year they are certainly highly thought of.....road game there will be a good measuring stick if weather is decent....Ole Miss also was highly ranked when we beat them as was Wichita State..... #1 Hogs were beaten by Western Illinois-5 on Sunday.....#Vandy lost at home 13-9 to Long Beach State...#6 South Carolina split at home 8-7 and 2-3 vs Liberty....as Mike Shannon might say...baseball can be a funny game.... |
