UCA 5-11-3 MSU 1- 4-3 Harris goes 3/5 and Allday and Mrac hal each have two hits...McClanahan gets complete game win giving up only 4 hits and getting 5/1 Ks/BBs... UCA now 30-10/9-7 and McNeese drops to 6-10... Bears up 5-1 after 7...Caleb rockin on the mound ...Harris and Marchal each have two hits... Bears up 2-0 in 4th..... |

So close to the top....  IF things go well for us,...does anyone else see yet another sport with a big game againt Sammy? A two team league so far in many sports.

Game 3: Bears fall 6-0 in night cap..... UCA 0-3-3 MSU 6-12-0 What is happening wih these errors? This loss hurts.....could have been no worse than 2nd.... Bears trail 4-0 after 5th in Game 3.... |

I had a feeling this might be one of our final chances for a sweep, but being the eternal optimist, I can't help but think that with three series to go, we still play a series against two of the three teams ahead of us. (Head to Head series are the quickest way to gain ground) We own the tie breaker over the team in first if we can ever get to the top, and with the teams currently tied with us, we own one tie breaker, have a series against one, and the other owns the tiebreaker over us. I think we sit in a pretty good spot as we head down the home stretch!! It's sure gonna be interesting! Go Bears! |
